The Ojai Community Chorus, a four-part mixed chorus, was founded in 1987 by
Phil Harvey, who served as its first director and later as its artistic director.

We offer people of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity to experience many genres of choral music from classical to jazz, gospel, Broadway, and the music of today.  We serve the community of Ojai by performing Winter and Spring concerts.

Though a musical background and the ability to read music is helpful, we work with enthusiastic and dedicated singers at all levels of experience and provide music education and training along with a choral experience of high artistic standards. Membership is open to all. Ojai residence is not required.

The chorus is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors who supervises all administrative aspects of leadership.
