28th show! Rocking Around The Clock!
Featuring music of the ’50s in a floor show that will bring those memorable classics back to life. The show will feature medleys from such hit productions as “Grease” and “Bye, Bye Birdie” and will include a wide variety of music from that era. Who doesn’t love “Moonglow,” the beautiful “Autumn Leaves,” or the rocking “Blue Suede Shoes”? There will even be a sing-along for the audience!
The concerts will be held at the Ojai United Methodist Church, 120 Church Road, across from Nordhoff High School, on Saturday, May 2 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 3 at 3 p.m. The suggested donation is as follows: General Admission: $20 in advance/$25 at the door and Students and Seniors 65 and better: $15 in advance/$20 at the door. Kids 6 through 11 are $5. Tickets are also available from Chorus members and Angela’s Flowers. A boutique and bake sale will also be featured. This is the Chorus’ 28th year of presenting outstanding concerts to the Ojai community, and we’re looking forward to another great concert. We hope you can make it! A big thanks to the City of Ojai Arts Commission for partially funding this concert. For additional information please call Marilyn at 640-0468.
